So it's Thursday evening about 5pm and we're calling the Private Plane company hired to bring Lil Wayne to WildJam. We were just following up...making sure all is well and that his plane took off on time. Well...turns out that Lil Wayne's plane not only hadn't taken off yet, but it wasn't even close to do so. word was "mechanical problems" (yet to be confirmed) either way ...we were in an ALL OUT panic!!! OMG - He was 5hours away minimum. We were trying to get ahold of anyone possible, Private. Red Flags when up! we didn't know if we would have a headliner or not... talk about a dilemma. Do we open the doors and HOPE lil wayne gets there in time, or do we tell everyone there's a chance he won't make it????? we figured it's best to be honest with everyone...we put out a flier letting people know Wayne May not perform. people as could be expected were dissapointed but only a few decided NOT to take their chances and get their money back. Turns out Lil Wayne did make it, and KILLED it! Great performances all night long including: Jesse McCartney, Danity Kane, Pitbull, FloRida, Ray J, Colby O Donnis, and more!!

 If you don't know how i do it in the club let me give you a quick sypnosis: 1st off ... i play ALL your favorite songs that are hot RIGHT NOW. 2nd i throw in them classics that make you go WOOOOOOO i haven't heard this forever! 3rd i flip in some ISH you would NEVER expect...maybe rod stewart...maybe a Barney Song....just something totally off the wall...but totally fun (it depends how many adult beverages i'm having) 4th...can't forget about the undeground vibe.  some house, some hip hop and OF course...it's not a Jazzy Jim set without the Dancehall!

Playtime is over folks. we gotz to finish '07 the right way. Come hang with me at Suite 181. Digital Underground will hit the stage at about 11:15pm and i'm gonna close the night from there. I will be performing a special NYE set. this won't be my typical blow the roof off the spot tear it down type of set...it's going to be BETTTTTER. be prepared to hear ish you never expected mixed in a way that's taken me a couple years to get down to a science. love to hang with you, so HOLLA @ YA BOY!
