So as some of you may know, I was in San Diego last week on a little vacation... It was nice and relaxing! As soon as I got back home to the Bay, I decided this summer would be the perfect time for me to get a BBQ grill and did some cooking!

Now, keep in mind, I'm a novice when it comes to cooking. I got "Cooking For Dummies" to help me out, and on Chapter 1.1, "Scrambled Eggs," I succeeded in burning the eggs, and they were still runny (and not very tasty!).
But, hey, meat cooking on metal - I'm a man - I should be able to handle that!
I spent all day Friday assembling the new grill (got it at Target for $119!). By the weekend, I was ready to give things a go with my first attempt at cheeseburgers. I guess I skipped the lesson in common sense class about rolling your hamburger meat into a ball before flattening it so it stays together on the grill...
So as soon as I put the patties on the grill, the fell apart, down into the grill bowl, and the individual meat chunks started to catch fire... Long story short, it was super smokey - I had to close the sliding door to avoid setting off the smoke detector. The meat wasn't exactly in the form of hamburger "patties" when I was done with the whole endeavor, but there was some tasty meat chunks with cheese between buns.
When I get home tonight (after I clean the grill), I'm gonna give chicken a shot. Wish me luck! =)

OMG!!! WOW!!! HAHA!!!
AnNeWELL GOOD LUCK WITH THE CHICKEN TONIGHT!!!
