Today's Topic: Dating A Coworker

How funny that today I want to talk about dating a coworker.  It's just a coincidence that it actually happens to be "Hump Day" too.  Haha ANNNNYWAY.  I have mixed feelings about today's topic.  Part of me wants to say it's an absolute NO-NO and you probably shouldn't S*&^T where you eat...  Is that even the right saying?  Well what I mean is... it's probably not the best idea to start a relationship with a coworker because it could affect your job or career in the future. 

I guess the biggest downside of dating a coworker is what happens if you break up?  Even worse, what happens if the break up is NASTY and you want to kill each other?  How will you be able to work together? I guess the only answer to all these questions is you'll just have to take that risk and cross that bridge when and if you get it.  Now that "IF" is a possibility... I know a few people that met their boyfriend, girlfriend, even husband and wife at work.  And they couldn't be happier.  I dated a coworker a few years ago and it was great when we were together, but then it did get tough if we were having an argument and then we still had to see each other at work and be all smiles.  It's even harder if he dumps you and you still have to be civil with him every day.  It was tough, but I just had to focus on my job and not let my personal life affect my work.

So here's how I see it... if you think Chris in the mailroom is hot and you just want a summer fling with him and that's it, I say control yourself and resist the temptation of his gorgeous blue eyes.  It's not worth the rumors and awkward moments of silence when you two end what you had.  But if you really connect with Chris and have never met a guy that makes you melt the way he does... I don't know... I say go for it??? In the end I'm a hopeless romantic and totally believe in fate.  I don't know if that's the best way to think in this situation but it's always exciting at the beginning, the secret emails, the flirting, etc.  Just use your best judgment... if you work in a small office it might be tougher than a large company.  It's not impossible to date a coworker but just remember if it ends then be prepared for the consequences.  Just something to think about.

Will Brooke Hogan Pose nude for Playboy??

InTouch Weekly claims Playboy has an open offer for the star of "Brooke Knows Best" to appear in its magazine. "Playboy has asked her to consider doing a cover or at least a photo shoot.

Personally I think they could find a better canidate to Pose for the cover of the 55th Anniversery addition. However, my producer who's a guy has another opinion and would love to see the Reality star bare it all. I'll let you decide, but I can't help but wonder what her dad will think about this!

Between June 2007 and June 2008, the big screen's leading men colectively took home an estimated $487 million, compared with the leading ladies' $244.5 million.

Will Smith leads the pack of Hollywood's best-paid actors, banking an estimated $80 million over the course of the year. Frequently called the hardest-working man in Hollywood, Smith has proved that no matter the genre--be it sci-fi thriller (Warner Bros.' I Am Legend) or sappy drama (Sony's The Pursuit of Happyness)--he can deliver an audience.

Some of the names that round out the top of the list include Eddie Murphey, Mike Myers and my personal favorite Johnny Depp!

Miley auctions off the hottest ticket in Hollywood

Being auctioned on Ebay, the highest bid for the night-on-the-town with the Hannah Montana star, 15, currently stands around $2,000. The auction kicked off Tuesday night and ends July 29.

The highest bidder will attend the premiere of Cyrus's Disney animated film Bolt, opening Nov. 26.

The auction is benefitting the Cyrus family's charity, Pappy Cyrus Family Foundation (named for Miley's grandfather), which supports underprivileged children.

Looks like the He/She finally had its baby!!

It's been three weeks since his blue-eyed baby debuted in this world, but Thomas Beatie - better known around the world as the Pregnant Man - can already say this about his daughter's personality: "She's easygoing and mellow and intelligent."

On June 29 at 8:55 p.m., Beatie, 34, a former female beauty pageant contestant, made cultural history as perhaps the first legally transgender male to give birth, bringing into the world a 9 lbs., 5 oz. baby girl named Susan Juliette.

Today's Topic: Confidence

Hello and happy Tuesday! Yesterday I was at work kinda late... almost till 7 but I was excited to go home because my sister was waiting for me at my place.  She drove up from San Diego last night to visit me.  We went and had some amazing sushi!  I look up to my sister a lot... in my eyes she's always been very confident and independent. By owning her own interior design company at a young age, and recently getting married and having an adorable baby girl... I don't think she could have accomplished all of this without having some confidence in herself. 

Can confidence be mistaken for being cocky though?  I think it can only if you allow it to.  I think confidence is important and every woman and man should have a little bit of it.  If you're not confident then people won't take you seriously and will walk all over you.  Don't be so confident though that you think you know all the answers.  A cocky person is someone who thinks they are God's gift to this world and nobody else is important.  It's important to love yourself to an extent just not that much! Haha...

So maybe some things are going on in your life that has taken some of your confidence away.  Maybe you just broke up with your boyfriend or got a bad grade in one of your summer school classes, or you messed up real bad at work.  You have to take these experiences and learn from them.  Don't let them take over your life or your confidence.  You are in control of that so gather that little bit that might be left and believe that you will battle the next obstacle in your life with confidence you know you have!
