Girl Talk with Sis... "Girl, Yo' Dress is See-Through!!!"
Today's Topic: "Girl, Yo' Dress is See-Through!!!"
Yeaaaaaaah, It's FRIDAY!!! So this morning I was getting ready and decided to wear this really cute dress that that I usually would wear to... maybe dinner or a night out. We are having a little party this afternoon with all my co-workers so I wanted to look nice ya know?? Well I was already running late when I was about to leave the house and my roommate pointed out that it was totally see-through! Ughhhh!!! "Are you serious!!!!???"
Okay so I initially said, "So what... I've worn this dress before and never worried about it." My roommate looked at me like I'm some sort of mental person... and was all, "Just thought you should know, but if that's how you roll, then whatever." Okay, its not that I wanted to go to work with a see-through dress.... but ladies, I was already running sooooooo late and how am I going to put together another outfit with no time! I usually wear this dress at night so natural sunlight has never been an issue on my now very visible boooooootay!!
I had to change! Got to work a little later than I wanted to but it was totally worth it! I actually like the outfit I have on now better and now I don't have to worry about having my Victoria's Secret chonies be the topic of conversation today. Hollllaaaaaa... Have a good weekend!
Well, here we are.... Well into Fall, even though it still feels like Summer. And I gotta be honest I don't feel as fit as I did back in July or even August. Hmmmm maybe it's because I've been slackin' off going to the gym and watching what I eat. No matter what people tell you like, "you look fine" etc. You are the only one that knows the truth about how you really feel inside about your body.
Yes, I know I'm not super fat or anything and, but for about a year I was really good about going to the gym etc. So this week, I've been cautious about my eating and working out and this morning I gotta tell you I totally noticed a difference when I slipped on my skinny jeans! Alright they're a little snug.... But I feel better in them today than if you made me try them on, let's say - Sunday.
Only YOU can motivate YOU! Yes, your friends and family can too, but in the end you are the one that is going to dedicate yourself to whatever it is you want to achieve! It's important to be healthy... I'm not saying you gotta stop eating and be as thin as a pole..NO WAY!!! But excercise to your level and maybe just lay off the junk food. C'mon, you know you can do it!
Okay, some may say that I can smell really well. I don't know if it's necessarily a good thing or a bad thing but I have a very sensitive nose and can easily gag if something smells unpleasant. Sooooo here's the deal. . . How do you tell someone you either see often or closely work with, that they kinda smell?
At first you may think it's the environment or they are just having an off smell-good day? But after day 3 or week 2 or a few months or even other people noticing the odor . . . it's clear that this is now a very smelly problem. (For the record my producer Morgan would like me to inform everyone that this topic is not about him).
Annnnnyways... I don't know what you do? I asked Morgan. "Hypothetically speaking... IF YOU smelled how you would like me to tell you?" He pretty said there was no easy way of telling someone they smell and he would be really embarrassed to ever be around me because he would always worry if his odor was stinking up the room.
So we've come to the conclusion that there is no easy way of handling this sititaion. Maybe an anonymous letter??? Hmm... I guess you either man up, tell them and risk some awkward moments or you walk around with air freshener or extra perfume in your purse. Blaaaaaaaaaah!
So last night, I'm having a glass of wine and watching a new episode of The Hills with a few of my friends. New week, same drama... LC and Heidi are still not friends but they miss each other and Spencer still sucks and has oddly flesh-colored facial hair. Soooo, I don't know how the topic came up but we started to talk about how much they all make? I was really curious to see how much Lauren Conrad makes. One of my friends said, he knew of a website that had all of there salaries broken down by person, per episode.
I said AWESOME... let's see it! And here it is. Enjoy and try not to throw up because of how much they all make either. Sorry if this offends you.
Lauren Conrad: $75,00 per episode ($1.4 million for Season Four) Heidi Montag: $65,000 per episode ($1.25 million per year) Spencer Pratt: $65,000 per episode ($1.25 million per year) Audrina: $35,000 per episode ($665,000 per year) Whitney: $20,000 per episode ($380,000 per year) Brody: $10,000 per episode ($190,000 per year) Lauren "Lo": $10,000 per episode ($190,00 for Season Four) Stephanie: $8,000 per episode ($152,000 for Season Four).
Girl Talk with Sis... "Make the best out of a bad situation"
Today's Topic: "Make the best out of a bad situation"
Well hiiii, I hope you had a great weekend? Mine was okay . . . Yesterday I had to go to Traffic School for a speeding ticket I got on the 4th of July. Blaaaaaah..... So I pretty much wanted smash my alarm clock in the wall at 7:45am when it went off on a Sunday morning. I showed up to this stuffy, kinda smelly small room in the back of this shopping center. The look on everyone's faces, made me realize they all didn't want to be there anymore than I did.
The instructor stood at the door and handed us a clipboard and almost shouted at us to fill out this card thing. Then he shows us the intense schedule on the board that specified our two 10 min breaks and one 30 min lunch break and instructed us to write down this 9am-5pm schedule! "Is this guy for real?"... I'm like "oooooh man this guy takes his job way too seriously."
After everyone got all settled, he goes, "Good Morning" (like suuuuuper loud!) Uhhhh we all just sat there and I think one person said it back.... He said it again and I realized he wanted all of us to say "Good Morning" all loud like him.
"Ugghhh c'mon guy!!!..... It's 9am on a SUNDAY!"
So here's how I saw it... I can either sit here all day (for 8 hours) and hate this guy..... ooooorrrrrrrr I can make the best out of it and participate. So I participated, we shared traffic stories, and cop stories, he showed us some traffic related videos and at the end of the day his cheesy jokes really weren't that bad... He WAS a nice guy and he did take his job too seriously but you gotta respect him for that. This man truly loves what he does and I could never hate on that! Happy Monday!
